Doug,
	  I assume you've checked plug fuse and connections in and out of the 
computer. Try borrowing a power supply from another machine to see if that 
cures it. If it does, you might consider getting a new case complete with 
power supply, sometimes the cost difference for a basic no frills case is not 
much more than a power supply.
	 If another power supply doesn't solve the problem, then it's more than 
likely the mother board. This may make you consider scrapping the machine as 
most likely, unless the machine is not very old, you will not get a 
compatible motherboard. 
	Two paths here, upgrade the machine, motherboard, processor and memory, or, 
buy a second hand machine in good working order.
