[Sheflug] ShefLUG - October Meeting

Hi

Not made a proper announcement yet but I am asking whether anyone out
there has any special requests for the meeting on Saturday. I think
the steel shutter drops on our fingers for final requests for Thursday
or Friday.

Same place as last time. Have a look at the meetings page.

The one off lecture series that we ran in 2003 and 2004. I've
converted these into Ogg Vorbis format. Should work on any MP3. If
you want a copy of one of these they will be available on CD at the
meeting on Saturday. The lectures covered.....

Ted Tso - 2.6 kernel
Robin Rowe - Linux at the Movies
Richard Stallman - Software Patents
Jeremy Allison - What's in Samba 4
Prof Pat H. Stakem - Use of Linux in Space.

It's a bit Radio 3 ish but well worth listening to :)

Regards
