Bob,
	The files are named IMGP5472.jpg,  IMGP5478.jpg etc. I'm using suse 
10.0, can't find unhex in the distribution. So I google and find that 
unhex is part of megatron (as you mentioned) References to megatron 
abound under a google search but every reference that I've looked at, 
refer to people giving other people asking the same question as I, the 
answer you gave me. Man pages and the like are in plenty but I can't 
find a download link for the file. Searching for megatron on the 
novel/suse site, takes me to a host of references on netatalk. This 
won't do what I want unless I've interpretered the pages wrong. 
n.b. netatalk is available on my distribution.
My next task is to troll through the older dists. versions, 9.3 down, to 
see if megatron was included in them.
