	Yes, you're right. Looking at the file list that the netatalk package 
gives, megatron, unhex etc is included. So I start yast, select 
netatalk to install and whoa, look at the conflicts. Something in the 
region of 10 files to downgrade and another 70+ to remove. Includes 
nearly all usefull productivity type programs, eg openoffice, mail etc.
	Doesn't say much for suse 10.0, considering this is supposed to be 
stable and all the programs apart from java and mp3 playback are from 
the standard distribution, not the testing 10.1 version.
	I have a dual boot with Kubuntu, so I tried that. Netatalk installed 
with apt no problem. Running megatron or unhex filename.jpg says that 
the jpg files exists and does nothing with them. 
	Back to research. My wife says I'm like a dog with a bone, won't give 
it up. he he.
