Tried that Alex. I renamed a file to 1.jpg and also tried when I
renamed the file to 1.hqx and 1.jpg.hqx and removed the original to
another directory. In both cases it gave the message:- "file
originalfilename.jpg exists", even though I had renamed it. I also
tried the commands a second time as root just incase. So the original
filename must be in the contents of the file. I've found a mention of
this problem on a suse forum but, again, no solutions.
