Strangely enough I was having a trawl through Ebay when your mail
arrived.
Last Friday a friend from Bolton came over to see me and we spent the
afternoon looking at his Sharp Zaurus which is Linux based.
Available from the same German company that he got his from but on
Ebay at about £260 to £300. These are incredibly good. Can do
anything with them. They even have Hancom office and other text
processing software.
Then there's the Compaq iPAQ from Ebay for about £160. You can put
Familiar 0.83 into those and Opie 1.2 and the end result is nearly as
good as the Zaurus. Mine still works after three years of recharging
and heavy use with Familiar 0.69 (I think) and Opie 0.98. Also, I
just came to the conclusion that the Palm Zire 31 is an excellent
device which you can get from an online retailer for about £80 or
about £50 from Ebay.
You didn't say what you preferred so I've no idea what you want :)
