Of course it's a matter of personal taste, but my current ~/Mail/ is in
Maildir format, it's a good format for grepping (e.g. over ssh), it's
considered more stable than mbox (a corrupted file affects only one
message), and you don't get the spurious "> From ..." lines in the
bodies of messages.
