sounds a bit strange.
I used my nephew's wireless router on a doze lappie over Christmas and
had to add a rather strange password consisting of hexadecimal numbers.
Once the password was entered on the lappie it remembered it ad infinitum.
I have yet to try wireless under Linux but I would expect it to behave
the same. What router do you have and what distro are you using?
I am considering getting a wireless router for here but am torn between
a wireless router or a wireless access point. The difference being one
would be behind an OpenBSD firewall and one would only have the router's
firewall.
