[Sheflug] New HP Deskjet 3940 printer

Hi Everyone,

I haven't been able to post for sometime as I have not been able to send
outgoing mails.

My printer finally died.  I visited linuxprinting and HP and decided on
the 3940, which I thought was a 'perfectly'.  However, it appears it is
a 'mostly'.  I have set the printer up with it not connected to the
computer.  It printed the test page correctly. 

Now it is connected to my computer it does print, but it is not related
to what is on the screen.  It prints a few strange characters and feeds
out several empty pages.

How can I get this to work?
