Thanks to this M$/Novell thing I've had to throw openSuSE away due to
the fact that people shout at me when I go to public events. I tried
Ubuntu Edy Eft for a while but it was full of bugs and not what I
wanted. Got the legacy Nvidia drivers working but couldn't get Beryl
or Compiz going.

I tried to install Debian Etch but Grub wouldn't boot after I
installed it and so now I'm on Fedora Core 6 which is also full of
bugs. Such as, the desktop doesn't load until I do '/usr/bin/kdm' on
the command line. After loading KDE 3.5.6 is very stable. I'll
probably use Etch when it is realeased.

Can you help with my own Beryl stuff ? If I do something
like 'apt-get install beryl' on my FC6 machine it says... (yes, I
don't like YUM)

The following extra packages will be installed:
   aquamarine (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   bdock (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   beryl-core (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   beryl-gnome (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   beryl-kde (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   beryl-manager (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   beryl-plugins (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   beryl-settings (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   beryl-settings-simple (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   emerald (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   emerald-themes (0.2.0-1.fc6)
   heliodor (0.2.0-1.fc6)

Do I have to change the "/etc/X11/xog.conf" file or do anything else
to get it to work ?
