Oh.. that's odd. Was going to get hold of a Samsung 17" flat screen
but I'm still using a CRT. My GeForce 5200 nVidia card came from
www.misco.co.uk at a cost of £19.49 plus postage.....

Dunno... not used many flat screens :) Should work though. Can't
think why you should have a problem. When you run 'dkg-reconfigure
xserver-xorg' do you tell it to detect the monitor automatically ? I
sometimes find that if you do that then it messes up the xorg.conf.

Looking at the Gimp site there is. You could download it and build it
yourself ? Being the Debian distribution then it's likely that the
2.4 release will come along when Lenny is released. I've not seen
anything in Debian backports for Gimp just yet. Robin Rowe might
know more.
