[Sheflug] Software Fails to Build
Hello there
This is probably only a simple thing but a search with Google isn't
providing any answers. I've tried to build several applications from
source code and every time I get the error message that you can see
below. Debian Etch stable. apt-cache search (for packages) doesn't
reveal any answers. The config.log doesn't help much either...........
checking whether we are using the GNU C++ compiler... no
checking whether gpp accepts -g... no
checking dependency style of gpp... none
checking whether gpp supports -Wundef... no
checking whether gpp supports -Wno-long-long... no
checking whether gpp supports -Wnon-virtual-dtor... no
checking how to run the C++ preprocessor... /lib/cpp
configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check
See `config.log' for more details.
What should I install to get round this error ?
Richard
