That may have been me..... although in the end my contribution to the
development process for our new version was limited to listening and
understanding concepts. My main role is application admin, plus residual
Notes stuff.
We still have our application running on the Notes platform but we haven't
won any new customers in that environment for a number of years (most of the
old customers are still using it, however). In the last year or so we have
won over a dozen new customers with the new version of the app developed in
JSP, MySQL backend and running on Tomcat. We're agnostic as regards server
technology - we have one customer who runs it in-house on a Windows 2003
server - but most of our customers use our hosted provision which runs on
Fedora Core 6.
And yes I might turn up again in February.
