Yes.  If you read through http://mscore.sourceforge.net/en/idx.php 
you'll see that it can provide some functionality in the sound 
department.  Which will improve over time.  And, the main quality 
is that it is covered by the GPL licence which is the most successful 
in the history of software and computing....
