I'm going to head along, since it seems like a great way to mingle
with people and get more contacts. As well as being interested in the
GIMP/Inkscape talk Richard's offered, I've offered to do a
presentation on KDE4, as it's an area which I think I can offer
something of value that most people don't already know. Now I'm
praying that my laptop works properly :P at this moment PulseAudio
dies after about 10 minutes, killing my sound, X doesn't work on
projectors, using Kwin's 3D effects has a habit of resetting X, Amarok
2 (which would be awesome to demo) no longer works after an update, I
have no space bar and every GTK program looks butt-ugly since I've had
to remove gnome-settings-daemon which handles the themes :P Other than
that it's a perfectly fine demo machine :D
Thanks,
Chris Warburton
