WOT ?? <raises eybrows>.  At no time have I ever seen a single machine 
upgrade at all ! That includes 
Slackware/Debian/RedSplat/CentOS/Fedora/Slackware/Mandrake/Gentoo or 
any of them.  Yes, I always read the upgrade instructions.  Even 
though I don't need to.  Not even seen a Mac or winduhs machine that 
would upgrade.

I've been involved with computing science since 1974.  What ARE you on 
about ?
