I've got my home NAS (SuSE 10.3) with a couple of 750GB mirrored drives
sat in one of these:

It's well made with rubber bushes for the drive mountings, so there's no
metal-to-metal and it's very quiet. The drives are ticking over at an
average of 30'C so there's nothing excessively warm in there.
