Been having a great time down here.  One of the highlights of the week was 
Matthias Ettrich giving a talk about QML technology...

We also had a brilliant Fudcon at the same time just next door.  Like going to 
an American Linux Expo but without the long distance travel and peculiar 
security at the airport. Other highlights were the Google Android technical 
lectures (communications infrastructure) and similar mobile device technology.  
Ubuntu and OpenSuSE sessions were also very good.

Well worth the trip :)
