These are very good.
However there are a couple of options. The base package comes with
an 8 Gbyte SSD storage device. For an additional £40 I could

If you do decide on a hard drive EBuyer are currently doing an Acer

I wonder if this price reduction heralds a new wave of netbook

The SSD vs HD arguement doesn't really exist. Maybe if you were to
hammer a laptop beyond it's limit. My EeePC works fine. I've just
slammed it up against three walls and several concrete floors
whilst running from check in to gate 65 at Berlin Schoenefeld
airport. My bag unzipped itself twice whilst I was running to
catch a Ryanair flight. Before that it had already done several
thousand miles and been slammed into god knows what. It continues
to work. I'm not sure that the old fashioned HD would survive
that.
Indeed - so I guess work out how you're likely to use your netbook and
what sort of bumps and shocks it'll get during its lifetime.
