[Sheflug] Google Prepping 64-bit browser for Linux

Hello there

Might interest a few people out there....

" Google's Chromium project announced it is working on its first 64-
bit version of its Chrome web browser, which will will arrive first on
Linux. Meanwhile, Linux is increasingly driving development of 64-bit
software -- simply because Linux power users are demanding it, says an
industry blog. "

I've been using 64-bit desktop Linux for two years. It was a bit
wobbly at first but it's rock solid now. Don't know about Chromium as
a web browser though. It's still in its earlier stages and might not
be what you want for everyday use.
