[Sheflug] Can anyone recommend a Web-MySQL interface?

Hello all,

Some of you will remember I was building a website. Well, that's now
done 
(the initial phase, that is - now for continuing development!) and I
want 
to construct an interface to an existing MySQL database of members etc.

I've looked at lots of likely offerings, but they all seem to want to
use a 
database to store the components of the site in, for page construction
on 
the fly. I don't want anything like that - I just want to use a web page
as 
a data browsing, entry and updating facility.

I've tried phpFormGen but it seems a bit basic, and my first tries
haven't 
succeeded in showing any existing data or entering new.

This can't be an unusual application, and I'd rather not have to
reinvent 
wheel again, so can anyone point me to a suitable application?
