Depends on the filing system; linux itself doesn't handles files
therefore has no limits ;)

Hmmmm. Mpeg players are out there (mtv, etc., do a search on freshmeat),
as to playing straight off DVD, dunno. I know there's an ac3 decoder out
too, but I have a feeling it ain't real time. Basically, you might find
some software, but you'll probably need an evil pc to run it.
