Comet is part of Kingfisher, as is Charlie Browns, Woolworths and
half (Next owning the other half) of Club 24 (Ventura) here in Leeds - who
do 'Customer Care' for Cellnet, some Barclaycard, Dixons storecards
(repeat business) and a load of other stuff.

It's odd how seemingly rival companies end up being attached in
someway, either through agreements, or actual shared ownership of
another company.

Apple and Acorn (as was) owning 43% of ARM (originally).
