Generally, they don't know their products. At all. They know the
basics (I.E. Its a television), but all other knowledge they read off
the cards infront of the product.

Everytime I've used Dixons, Currys, PC World, it's because I knew what
I wanted, and I needed it in a hurry.

Asking them if a phone can be wall mounted is taxing enough (they
still got the answer wrong). I'd hate for somebody unfamiliar with
Linux to ask them a Question (So, Will this work with my WinModem,
Erm, yes I think it works with all modems).
The staff always seem very reluctent to go and find any information
for you. If they are not selling you an extended warranty, then they
are not bothered about selling you anything.
I've also had them selling me stuff that has obviously been used
before and returned. I'm not sure if they do it on purpose or not, but
It does seem to happen too much to be just an unfortunate accident.
Three times now, I've bought something as new from Dixons, and got it
home to find out that it wasn't, things missing from the box, etc etc.

This is all my personal experience. I hope other people have had
better experiences than me.
