Heh ;) The speed tends to surprise most people ;) Unforuantely, because
I'm a computer science student, I end up spending hours on silicon
graphics machines, so I end up solving people's problems while I'm bored
with working ;)

I don't know about exponential ;)) I like to think of 1/x as a suitable
Linux learning curve. . . although it depends whether you're plotting
'amount learned' or 'amount needed to learn before further progression'
against time. . . I generally find that l = sin(t) + 1, where t is time
and l is knowledge. . . l has a period of roughly one week, and the
troughs generally co-incide with weekends ;)
