Heh, I'm afraid the X11 headers are NOTHING to do with the kernel source.
Look on your distribution disk, there'll be a file called X11devel.rpm, or
something similar with a lot more numbers in ;))

Yep, you need the X development stuff installed. Follow above
instructions. But, be warned: I find it difficult to believe you'll get
KOffice running on your system. You need:
KDE 2 (KRASH)
QT2
If you have those on your system YOU WILL BREAK KDE. So, be warned. If
you're not a KDE developer, I don't recommend KOffice. It's alpha
software. It's not bug-ridden, but it has bugs and not a great deal of
features are completed fully. Sure, the screenshots look nice, but it's
not a finished product.
