I can safely say, that I have not changed the system settings for
ther auto-reboot. It seems to be a feature of Windows on my
machine. It is not a regular occurance. It seems to see what i am
doing. Ie the first time the problem appeared, was with Win95, and
playing Windoze version of CC, when reaching the latter end of
levels, or just before I finish them, pop the machine reboots itself.
Also happened a couple of occasions while doing work with
Winamp playing a few hours worth of MP3s. (Autosave features are
very useful). Happened last night (Winamp playing MODs) and I
was working on a util to make Windows useful, and ping the
machine reboots. I personally think it is my hardware, and the
hardware is resetting the machine. It is strange that Linux has not
sucombed to this however. It must be because there is less
useage on the machine. I bet no-one (M/S) ever expected a
hardware combo like mine...

I thought that was the Load last known good menu thing

That sounds familiar.
Just a different O/S.
