/dev/fd0 mount problems.

I've just run into a bit of a strange problem. Somehow, I'm not
quite sure (things were a bit hectic), I managed to mount my
floppy disk twice. Now I can't umount the wee beastie, because
umount claims that /dev/fd0 is mounted twice (funny that).

Anybody got any ideas on how to either
1) force the system to umount the disk,
or failing that
2) get the system to remove (or forget about) one of the entries
in the mount table, so umount won't complain anymore

Kernel version 2.2.13. The automount daemon is running, but the
floppy was mounted both times by hand (as a normal user) and is
mounted twice on the same mount point. So far as I know, this
should never have been allowed to happen and it certainly won't
allow me to mount it a third time (I tried, just to see what would
happen).
