Decent MP3 encoder

 Hi again guys.

 I`m currently using ripperX as a front end to cdparanoia and BladeEnc.

 I`m after a faster (yet not naff) mp3 encoder. If possible, one capable
of taking advantage of dual processors.

 Ideas?

 I had a look at LAME - but it appears to be patch for some kinda other
code - looks like too much hassle.
