Don't know. My usual thing is to download and compile all of them.
One of them is always better than the rest ? In the SuSE distro
there's Arcad and Ac3D. Both of them very good. You can probably
find a download URL from somewhere ? I'm not to sure just now ?

Try it and see what happens. If not fall back on to SuSE 6.4. It's
the next best thing for scanners. I know that Red Hat can be used for
this kind of thing but we haven't seen the 6.2 version working with a
scanner or ISDN so far.
Come back when you get bored/ fed up ?
