OK, in reading recent posts there's just some things that I need to
know (and serverely restraining myself here):

Surely, support for motherboards (namely their BIOS's quirks and their
onboard peripherals) is dependant on the kernel and not anything to do
with a distribution?

((eth == kernel stuff) && (mach64 == XF86 stuff)) != distro stuff
