Re: wine
Well, I changed the wine.conf file to include a section which says:-
[Drive F] #I don't know what significance these drive letters have to
the program.
Path = file://gold/c
Type = network
Label = win_c
Filesystem = win95 # I also tried 'msdos' but it made no difference
to the outcome.
If I run the command 'wine-debug "//gold/c/windows/calc.exe" I get the
following error messages
Could not stat (sic) //gold/c, ignoring drive F:
wine:can't exec '//gold/c/windows/calc.exe' : file not found
wine: no executable file found
Does this give any further clues to what is going wrong? The version of wine
is the one which self-installs with Mandrake 7.
Thanks,
Ian
