There is also the eth= line, which has been around for ages and pre-dates
the autoloader, I think? There are a lot of command line options for
linux...

I notice a number of people are doing that. Myself included. You wait 'til I
get gnokii working ;) (it compiles & runs, just doesn't do much right now ;)
