	I believe Peter's using Corel, which uses deb packages. In order
to find out what version of KDE (or of anything else) he's using, he can
list all available and installed packages by typing (as root)
dpkg -s | less
 (the | is a pipe, it sends all the output from dpkg -s to less, a
 program that pages the text that will come out).
