Similar lines for the Zip & printer ;)) As I'm at a WinPC, I'm afraid I
have no idea off the top off my head what to put...

When you modprobe them, or when?

I'm afraid I don't understand your question? If you alter conf.modules,
you alter (part of) the boot sequence. The boot sequence in linux is more
complicated under Linux than, say, MS-DOS - there is no equivilent of the
autoexec.bat. init is essentially what starts up Linux, but there are
several different bits which get loaded at different times, and it varies
from system to system. For example, some init scripts are stored in
/sbin/init.d - other systems have them in /etc/init.d, I believe...
Cheers,
Alex.
