/dev/gpmdata is a named pipe (aka FIFO). When gpm is started with
the -R flag, it spits the output to /dev/gpmdata. This can be used
as a 'device' in the Pointer section of the XF86Config file, with the
'Protocol' set to MouseSystems. Very useful, I've found.
