[Sheflug] Oh gloom :(

I promise you I haven't done anything silly but YaST has taken it upon 
itself to suddenly refuse to run on my SuSE 6.3 box. I'd only recently 
successfully used it to uninstall some lo longer reguired app but now when 
I try to run it, it hangs at the splash screen. While the keyboard hasn't 
actually locked up (I can switch between VT's) I can't type anything in at 
the command prompt.

I'd really like YaST working again but does anyone have any suggestion what 
may have gone wrong and how to fix it without a complete reinstall? Is 
there likely to be any log entries tucked away somewhere which might shed 
some light on the problem?
