	Do not be tempted by one of the cheapo RTL8139 derivatives. They
aren't well supported (unless you have 2.3 kernels), and they tend to
die off in oblivion. If you're willing to use a dev kernel, these are
great, around a tenner and ubiquitous. The people working on the new
driver reckon you _do_ get surprising performance out of them with their
drivers!
