RedHat. For one simple reason.

.. drum roll ... There's a lot of packages available, so a very slack
person (no pun intended) such as myself can easily upgrade my machine
without having nagging doubts about whther a particular .so file is up to
date or not.
e.g. Helix Gnome is only available for RPM based distros AFAIK.
OpenBSD is fun, I like the ports packages (although not really Linux :). 
I have a Debian CD but never got round to installing it. It has some cool
ideas, but until I'm convinced it will give me a life as easy, if not
easier, than RedHat, I'll leave it alone.

I'd go for Debian, RH or SuSE. The rest are all novelty distros IMO.

Having said that they aren't much fun. Bugger it, go for Rock Linux or
something. :)
