[Sheflug] Compiling problem
I have been trying to install a ".tar.bz" application and have run into a brick
wall. I have uncompressed it with the "tar xvzf" command, but can't compile it.
Part way through the compiling I get an error message:
Checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check
installation and add the correct paths.
The Install doc file says that compiling usually finds X include and library
files automatically, but if it doesn't use the 'configure' options
--x-includes=DIR to specify the location.
I can't find the X include or library files, either installed or any mention of
them in the SuSE manual.
Please can someone help me yet again?
Very many thanks
Keith
