[Sheflug] sound cards for Red Hat Linux 6.2?

Can anyone recommend a good sound card (that also works with Windoze, sorry...)
OTHER than a soundblaster (it seems that win2k needs a memory hole to work
with SB cards on my motherboard, which is inconvenient...)

I have begun to get to grips with my installations. I have moved the Maxtor
onto IDE 1 and off the Highpoint controller to install everything and plan
to move it back afterwards. Interestingly, it took 2.5 times as long to
install RH6.2 (about 10 mins) on the standard controller than with the
HPT controller...a friend gave me a patched kernel to install RH6.2
on the HPT controller so it is possible.

cheers,

Matt.
