Did that and this is what came up in the terminal window.....

/dev/hda3
setting 32-bit I/O support flag to 1
HDIO_SET_BIT failed: Invalid argument
setting using_dma to 1 (on)
HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Invalid argument
setting keep settings to 1 (on)
HDIO_SET_KEEPSETTINGS failed: Invalid argument
setting standby to 180 (15 minutes)
I/O support = 0 (default 16-bit )
using_dma = 0 (off)
keepsettings = 0 (off)

So, how do I disable the power saving feature ?
