You could *also* or *instead* fiddle with the BrowseAddress directive ... it 
defaults to 255.255.255.255 which means all connected networks. I don't know 
your internal IP address, but you could try setting it to (say):

	BrowseAddress 192.168.1.255

so it only broadcasts on the 192.168.1.0/24 network :) Hopefully pppd won't 
pick it up then.
