I know someone who helps develop E. It's okay, I can slag it off here, he's
not reading ;)))
Heh, well, it's not my cup of tea, but I know people who like enlightenment
a lot. I've met a lot of people off #E, and most of them are certifiable,
and I certainly find some of their coding decisions strange... but, horses
for courses.

I haven't used KDE2 properly yet, although it's supposed to be good. I can
also vouch for Helix GNOME being very good. The wm thing is a problem
though - Sawmill sucks [insert noun] as far as I'm concerned: on my work
machine, at least, windows don't even minimize properly. It's buggy as
anything. E seems to be less buggy, but it's been in development ages. I
suspect it has a memory leak, though, 'cos the longer my machine stays on
with X running, logged in but locked) the slower it gets.
Cheers,
Alex.
