For a man who did 2 years at Uni on a EEE degree (and then flunked out)
it's hard to believe, but I don't even own a meter :-(

Don't ask me why I decided that Pentium = ATX, but I figured it was.
I'm not remotely bothered about things like power management - my main
box is a SMP machine - not much in the way of compatibility with power
saving stuff there.
Paul, I'm the same, if it's dead, it's dead. I can't be bothered going
to the effort of trying to fix something that has already taken a hit -
nice to see all those fuses helped :-)
I'm also not gonna bother sorting out a new case. Pulled a 486 (cost all
of £5) out of the corner, recompiled the kernel for a 486 and Bob's your
mothers brother.
The machine that died was identical to the firewall machine, so I nicked
the PSU out of that, then used the 486 for the firewall.
