Got the impression that this was about to happen. I was going to write
to my MP about it but didn't bother.

I remember meeting the Force9 sys admin in the first week I worked
there. He always tells people that BT haven't yet learned how to fit a Cisco router.

Another true story... BT told me that Home Highway was/is cheaper
than ISDN2e for internet access. Just got my quarterly bill. It's
£100 more than the ones I used to get for ISDN2e and I've only used it
for the same amount of time.

Am I supposed to believe that BT is a competent telecoms company ?? I
don't think so.

Whilst I'm ranting, I remember making the rash statement on this list
that I thought that Deutche Telekom might do a better job of it.
Strangely enough, these people run the 121 mobile network.

Problems...

* They don't know which key to press on a keyboard in front of them to
enable their system so that I can receive a fax to my Ericsson T18S
pocket phone.
* They don't know which key to press to allow voice mail to reach my
phone.
* For a three week period I couldn't make a phone call

There are other problems which are nothing to do with the phone. I
was going to connect my phone up to my laptop but the thought that it
might take three months of phone calls to do it has put me off
altogether.

Phoned the complaints department last week and I now have four months
of credit coming to me.

I'm going back to Orange.

Thanks

Richard
