I'd be much happier if I/we/The World didn't have to think about
this...ethernet!!!

Even some Windoze users are going to be stuffed with USB - Win95 and
NT4 USB support IIRC, just isn't there.

The other thing is that BT have ethernet based systems already - the
business packages are ethernet based.
I've spoke to BT and no-one there is really prepared to commit to
anything. One chap suggested that it would be possible for me to choose
the termination (USB/ethernet) and that would be that.
It seems that I would have to pay twice the basic price for the
priviledge by going business. I think not.
Generally the vibe I get from BT is "erm, not sure, if you could just
call.." over and over and over again.

 I'm on Orange. They'd be great if:

(a) I could get a half decent signal here - yeap, I'm so far from
anywhere, even mobiles are useless...what hope broadband?
(b) They actually had enough customer service people to complain to.

Generally they're OK tho.
