Well, I looked at a few other places as well, but I've gone with your
suggestion of csoft.net.

I managed to get barriebremner.com for the princely sum of 14 Euros
per year - from gandi.net. Not too bad.  

Just waiting for the whois db to sort itself out now, and figure out
how to deal with email with the new domain, and I'll be sorted!
