Grrrr!

I've just been looking over my Mum's shoulder in disbelief.

She's just popped over to http://www.airmiles.co.uk/ to look in awe at
their "new" website just updated to use "the latest internet
technology".

Disbelief? 

Oh, yes.

Visit the site with Netscape 6/Mozilla and you are redirected to a
page asking you to upgrade your browser - to Internet Explorer 4 or
Netscape 4.5.
They "do not support Netscape 6". Even IE5.5 seems to be a little
questionable...

The site has been "designed for Windows 95 or Windows NT 4 and above".
It's HTML for God's sake!

Obviously their new webmasters aren't too good - the source of the
redirection page has </html> then the </tr></table> tags, and the real
site (which renders with NS4.76) - using the latest internet
technology remember - is HTML 3.2, with CSS - something poorly
supported by the old browsers!

Nice to see companies know the full potential of all these new
internet technologies.

Even more annoying is the fact there is no obvious email address -
just a silly Javascript form.
