Re: [Sheflug] DCOP woes (was Linux searching)
Hi Alex,
I just checked bugs.kde.org and it seems that the dcopserver error is
a known problem with clusters sharing a single directory. Apparently
one of the sufferers updated to KDE 2.1, but that didn't help. What I
don't quite get is why the error happens in KDE, but not in other
window managers - I'd have thought that if there was an NFS error
then it would spread across the board...
Meanwhile, can anyone give me tips on an alternative office suite as
funky as KOffice? (KOffice needs dcopserver, dcopserver falls over...)
